It all started in 2010 when I was no longer comfortable with my life and what I was doing. I used to feel that, there is something I was supposed to be doing that I wasn’t doing but I couldn’t make it out. I remember one day I told my wife that I have a feeling inside of me that if I were a pepper producer my pepper will be known beyond the boundaries of central Africa.
All she could say was I was a dreamer. I am a teacher by profession and married with a family. I used to live like any other person in society with the realities of life. I used to drink beer, smoke, and gamble at times. The only bad habits I knew that I had were the issue of smoking and gambling. On so many occasions I struggled to give up these habits but it was not easy.
I will stop smoking even for a month but I will still come back to it. My wife wasn’t aware that I smoke or gamble but she knew I was drinking beer. One day she caught me with a cigarette and the relationship was at the edge of collapsing. I was disturbed and worried about how I will lose my wife just because of a cigarette.
Deep inside of me, I knew the efforts I had put in to stop but it didn’t work. I reflected on my past life and saw that I was the cause of all the problems that I was going through. I saw how gambling and cigarette had power over me and that I couldn’t do without them. I knew that I was in the realm of obligation and that I couldn’t come out with my own effort.
Coupled with the kind of family I came from I knew that nothing could work for me without God. At that time I was an occasional Christian. I took the decision to turn back to God. God has been so kind I discovered amongst my books a booklet titled how to deliver yourself. I took this booklet as a mentor still at home without attending any church, and embark on a 40days fasting and prayer.
One important thing to note is that I had never fasted before. In the first two weeks of my fasting, I had a revelation. In this revelation, I saw my late father in our family compound. I was in his room and he asked me this question, What is the use of the ring you are wearing? I didn’t answer him and he asked again “Is it for protection? But physically l had no ring.
I told him that I don’t still wear those things and that it is only God that protects me. He said he is asking because he has sown a godly gown that he wants to give me. After his words, I found in my hands a bible. As soon as I finished speaking with him I kept the bible on his bed and went to my mother’s kitchen. When I entered the kitchen I saw somebody lying on the bed completely covered with a blanket that I couldn’t make out his face.
Immediately my face fell on one traditional pot which is common to people from my area. It is called –“vunyingong” in our dialect translated into English as the gods. Immediately a voice said, this is what brings the evil spirits. I heard another voice that says I should pray. As I was praying and casting out demons from the pot I came out of the house, stood in front of the door facing the pot, and prayed, the door started closing by itself.
I was pushing the door with my left hand and my right hand pointing to the pot. I heard another voice saying call somebody to come and assist you. Immediately I saw someone in front of another kitchen. As I was struggling to call, the message wasn’t going through. But finally, he got me and came to the scene to assist me. When he came to assist, I left him there and went to my father’s house to take the bible that was given to me, and on coming to meet him the revelation stop.
These were just the first two weeks of my fasting and praying program. During the third week of the prayers, I went and joint the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Prayer Group. When I got there it was at Pentecost week. They were also fasting and praying at that time. When I was through with my 40days, there were still 10 days more to round up their own prayers.
I continued with them and they used to end there in the prayer mountain. I went with them to the prayer mountain for three days and after this prayer smoking, gambling and drinking left me up till today. Another important point is that after the prayer the revelation I had was following me like a human being. This picture was in my mind every moment. I started looking for someone who could interpret the dream.
Lucky enough I went to the general leader of the Charismatic Prayer Group and share the dream with him and he investigated my background by asking me questions at the end of it all he told me that God want me to denounce those ancestral altars to his throne. Immediately after I embarked on that, I was assigned to, first of all, unite my family and tell them what God has asked me to do until we all agreed. I went to the village, united the family, and gave them the prayer intentions.
We were all praying for some months until the month of august 2012 while on the prayer mountain this leader called me and said God has accepted that they should go to our compound for prayer. This is how I traveled with seven men of God to our compound for the family deliverance. An important point to note is that all the idols, traditional pots, and other ancestral objects were denounced but when it came to that particular pot I saw in the revelation there was disagreement.
Some were against that particular pot to be denounced and declared they were no longer interested and left the scene to the kitchen. Finally, those who disagreed with theirs were not denounced but in the other houses, the same pot was destroyed. This particular pot that was abandoned because of disagreement was destroyed later. After this act, I started the spiritual journey until God started building a dream inside of me.
This is the dream of building the glorious church. What we must note is that the last words of my father before he passed away were that we should pray and if God is willing he will send another one. Since then my family used to join us every Thursday for prayers. In 2013, we had a revival in our Charismatic prayer Group and my prayer point was that God should give me an idea that can change my life, family, and community.
After the program one day at my job site I received a word in my spirit ‘’development’’. Immediately I knew I have receive something. A few minutes later, I heard a voice speaking to me. I took a pen and paper and wrote down all that I heard. This was a project to develop my quarter in the village. I acted on this word and today it has become a reality.
I created an association called KENN which stands for KEBO-OH NATIONAL NETWORK. The association was made up of Sons and daughters of the Kebo-oh quarter all over the national territory of Cameroon divided into four zones. It was this association that moved the dream of developing the quarter. This association moved youths of other quarters to develop their quarters instead of waiting for the development organ of the village to do it for them.
We had major projects of electricity extension, bridge construction (3), creation of new roads, etc. This vision inspired the Mayor of Tubah Sub-Division where our village is under to assist us in this project. The Mayor told us to provide stones for the main bridge and the Council constructed the bridge worth thirty million francs. Today many are benefiting from the electricity extension project, the bridge project, etc.
We have been able to realize some of the projects as of now but the project is ongoing for it was a vision of ten years. This vision influenced people from my community to believe that all things are possible. It was within this project that God started saying to me, I want you to develop men and he started building a dream inside of me. Sometimes I used to doubt whether it is really God speaking to me or just my imagination.
At any time I used think of it fear comes over me. One day in a dream we were three in a room and amongst us was a servant of God. This servant of God asks me to give him water to drink. I took water in a jar and as I was trying to put it in a cup, this man of God came from behind and held my eyes with his hands, and started praying for me.
As he was praying I heard him saying you have a plan but you can’t step out in faith but you think you must serve another man before doing what God wants you to do and that not everyone will serve others before they will do the will of God. He said God will speak to you so that you will know that he is the one sending you. Immediately my spirit left me and went to my hometown. I was at the center of the village lying on the ground.
People were drinking beer, dancing, and enjoying themselves. The Spirit of God lifted me up and I touched the person who was very close to me and he started speaking my mind. He told all those who were playing music to stop and they obeyed. He also told all those who were drinking to come for God to want to speak and they obeyed.
When all of them came around, he told them to kneel down for God’s wanted to speak. When they all knelt down God spoke two sentences through me. He said, “My people are Suffering”. “My people are Poor” when God spoke these two sentences through me they couldn’t believe that it is God that has spoken to them.
A song breaks out of my mouth and as I was singing the song it was rolling like smoke and going up to the sky. Their eyes were focused on what was happening and when the smoke went far into the sky another smoke left from up the sky and was rolling down over the people and they believed that it was God that spoke to them.
They got up quietly and departed to their homes. I could not understand what it meant at that time but after so many years I discover that it was the problem that I was destined to solve on earth. It became my divine purpose. When this became very clear in my mind then the vision of building the glorious church was borne. The Vision of building the glorious church according to the word of God in Eph 5:27 is a church without stains nor wrinkles but of holiness, righteousness and truth.
It is a church where people are completely free from the matrix of this world. This is the picture of the end of what we want to achieve, the kind of church or society we desire to see. In the course of researching the Bible to have a better understanding of the topic “My people are suffering”. I found out that the origin and root causes of Human suffering in the church and in the world came as a result of the fall of man in Gen 3.
It is clear that soon after the fall, the man knew insecurity, fear, (Gen 3:16-17) sorrow, and mental anguish (Gen 4:13). This means that before the fall, the man never knew suffering. I also found out that though man never knew suffering does not mean that suffering was not there. Suffering was there from the beginning of creation but man was not aware of it.
It was in man but hidden from him. It was not in man’s experience until he breaks out of it. Therefore suffering is bound out with who the man is. I found out that “My people” according to the word of God stands for the children of Israel. Today the children of Israel are Christians. According to the scriptures in mat 5:3 “Poor” stands for spiritual poverty. It is from this word that the solution to the problem of human suffering came.
Therefore spirituality is the solution to this problem. Spirituality is when we transcend the psychological and physiological limitations of life. This can be achieved through transformational development. This journey into complete freedom is what we call transformational development. In addition, to prove that human suffering is my divine purpose, God revealed to me in 2018 that my functionality in the office of a prophet is philosophy
